Renowned Journalist Aminu Alhussaini Amanawa Distributes Clothing to Orphans and Less Privileged Ahead of Sallah

As part of his commitment to giving back to society, a renowned Journalist in Sokoto State, Aminu Alhussaini Amanawa, has distributed clothing materials to over twenty orphans, vulnerable individuals, and less privileged people in Amanawa, Dange-Shuni Local Government Area.

The initiative, aimed at ensuring the beneficiaries enjoy the upcoming Sallah celebration like their peers, was a personal effort by the Journalist to support those in need within his community.

While flagging off the distribution exercise, Aminu Alhussaini Amanawa states that the gesture was meant to bring joy to orphans who have lost their parents and may not have access to new clothes for the festive season.

“These children have lost their parents. Therefore, we find it necessary and very important to assist them, so that they can also feel included in the celebration,” he says.

He emphasizes that clothing is a basic necessity and that supporting the vulnerable, especially during festive periods, is crucial to their well-being.

Commending the initiative, the Special Advisor to the Sokoto State Governor on Industrial Development, Abubakar Buda Amanawa, praises Aminu Alhussaini for his generosity and called on other well-meaning individuals and organizations to extend support to the less privileged.

“This is a commendable effort from someone who was raised in this community and has shown deep concern for the welfare of orphans and the needy. Indeed, your generosity is special,” he states.

He also encourages the beneficiaries to make good use of the clothing materials and urges them to continue praying for the initiator, the community, the local government, and the state.

Community representatives, including Ibrahim Bakanike Amanawa and Ibrahim Dan Teke, laud Aminu Alhussaini for his kindness and urges wealthy individuals to emulate his example.

Some of the beneficiaries, including Hussaini Bala and Sani Hamisu, express their gratitude for the support and assure that they would make proper use of the clothing materials.

The initiative has been widely praised as a significant step toward uplifting the less privileged and ensuring that orphans feel included during the Sallah festivities.
