Ajayi Crowther University to Graduate 287 Students

Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo town, Oyo State is set to graduate 287 students during its 10th Convocation Ceremony on Friday, 19th of October, 2018.
Giantability Media Network reports that the Vice Chancellor, Rt. Reverend (Professor) Dapo Folorunso Asaju, who made this known at a press conference in the school over the weekend, also revealed that 339 postgraduate students are to be graduated at the ceremony.
“This year, a total of 287 students shall be conferred with Bachelor’s Degrees. These comprise 19 in First Class Honours, 102 in Second Class Upper Division, 133 in Second Class Lower Division and 33 in Third Class Division. Also a total of 339 postgraduate students are being graduated at this convocation,” he added.
“At this convocation ceremony, we shall be graduating our first set of postgraduate students from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Faculty of Management Sciences.”
Meanwhile, Professor Asaju disclosed that eminent personalities such as Chief Ernest Adegunle Shonekan, GCFR, CBE, Former Head of the Interim National Government of Nigeria and Member of the Board of Trustees of Ajayi Crowther University; Hon. Justice Babasola O. Ogunade, retired Justice of Ogun State High Court, Chancellor of the Diocese of Lagos West, Head of the Laity of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and member of the governing council of A.C.U will be conferred with Honorary Doctorate Degrees.
Others to be honored with the degree are: Olola Olabode Ogunlana, Nigeria’s first indigenous Managing Director of National Insurance Corporation of Nigeria (NICON) and a committed member of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion); and Emmanuel Kampouris, an American citizen and Chairman, Board of Trustees of Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) Worldwide and Publisher of the “Unapologetic Bible Study” and Theological Resources.
